VISION HEMBRA
Gracias a la Fundación CTA de Holanda, CAREL ha iniciado el proyecto Visión Hembra, en lo cual 14 jovenes mujeres estan aprendiendo a hacer videos.
Thanks to a grant from CTA (Technical Center for Agriculural and Rural Cooperation) in Holland, CAREL has begun the project Visión Hembra (female vision) in which 14 young women ages 12-22 are learning to make videos.

El 1ro de noviembre 2011 falleció el limonero Ramón Minyetty, que habia sido el sostén de su familia. Ahora su viuda Juanita, sus dos hijas discapacitadas Berenice y Sylvia y su nieta Griselda no tienen ni empleo, ni recursos, ni seguridad social….nada! Un equipo de siete mujeres jovenes de Visión Hembra ha hecho su primer video documental (12 minutos) sobre la situación de esta familia. El video se llama Hoy por Ti, Mañana por Mi y se puede ver en YouTube.

TODAY YOU, TOMORROW ME
On Nov. 1, 2011, a lifetime resident of El Limón died, leaving a widow, two disabled adult daughters, and a 10-year-old granddaughter. Ramón Minyetty was the sole support of his family, and now that he’s gone, they don’t know how they’re going to survive. Visión Hembra has just made its first documentary (12 minutes) about this family. It’s called Hoy por Ti, Mañana por Mi (Today You, Tomorrow Me) and can be seen on YouTube with English subtitles:
